Command line interface

SQL Image Viewer contains a command line interface that you can use to automated the export of images and binary data from your databases. In the current version, the following restrictions apply:

· automated exports for ODBC connection sources require that the password be stored as part of the ODBC connection details
· image processing tasks are not supported

To use the command line interface, you need to first create an export settings file. You can do this by saving your settings using the Export Items wizard.

export settings - save

You can then use the command line interface (SQLImageViewerCmd.exe) to run the export using this settings file.
