Connect to Database

The Connect to Database dialog allows you to connect to a supported database. To open this dialog, click on the Connect item in the main menu, or the Connect to database ... option on the main screen when no databases are opened.

SQL Image Viewer connects to the following database servers using native drivers:

· Firebird (1.5, 2.0)  
· MySQL (4.1.22, 5.0.67)  
· Oracle (10g)  
· SQLite 3  
· Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008)  

For database servers that are not directly supported, you can still use them if they include an ODBC driver.

Enter the necessary values to connect to the supported database Click OK
to connect to the database. If the connection was success, the work area is displayed.
