System requirements

SQL Image Viewer runs on the following operating systems:

· Microsoft Windows 2000
· Microsoft Windows XP
· Microsoft Windows Server 2003
· Microsoft Windows Vista (not all UI enhancements supported)
· Microsoft Windows Server 2008 (not all UI enhancements supported)

SQL Image Viewer supports the following database servers:

· Firebird (1.5, 2.0)
· Microsoft SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008)
· MySQL (4.1.22, 5.0.67)
· Oracle (10g)
· SQLite 3

Additional database servers may be supported if they have an ODBC driver. Database servers that have been tested to be working in SQL Image Viewer using their respective ODBC drivers are:

· IBM DB2 (9.5)
· PostgreSQL (8.3.5.1)

SQL Image Viewer may also require the following to be installed:

· If connecting to Firebird, the Firebird client connectivity library.

· If connecting to Microsoft SQL Server, the SQL Server client connectivity library.
If you can connect to a SQL Server instance using Query Analyzer or SQL Server Management Studio, you already have the connectivity library installed.

· If connecting to MySQL, the libmySQL.dll client library.
The path to this file must be included as part of the system's PATH settings. Otherwise, you would need to copy this file to the SQL Image Viewer installation folder.

· If connecting to Oracle, the Oracle client software.
You can use either the fat client software installation set, or the Oracle Instant Client pack.
